Files and notes
Upload a PDF, a Word file, or paste the text yourself. Replace a file and the next answer uses the new one.
Pages from your site
Tick the pages that belong in the chat. Leave a page unticked and it stays out.
The look of the chat
Set the name, the color, the welcome, and the starter questions customers already ask.
Questions with no answer
They show up for you. Add the missing page or file, and the next person gets an answer.
Three steps, then the button is on the site
The round button in the corner of this page is the same one your visitors get. It stays closed until they click it. Then the chat opens on the same page.

2
Add what it should know
Upload a file or paste notes. Or tick pages on Website scrape and save them. Wait until the row says Ready.

Questions
What is a website chatbot?
A chat button on your site. Visitors click it and ask in everyday language. Corpus answers from the documents and pages you saved, then lets you update those materials after you sign in.
Can I sign up myself?
Yes. Enter your name, email, a password, and your website name. The dashboard opens as soon as the account is created. Visitors never need an account.
What can I add?
PDF, Word (.docx), Markdown, and plain text on Documents & notes. You can paste notes instead of a file. Website pages are added from Website scrape: you tick the pages, read the text, then save them.
What if it does not know the answer?
It says it does not have a solid match. It does not invent a price, a date, or a policy. Those questions show up on Overview so you know what to add next.
How does the button get onto my site?
On Customer bot, copy the floating script and paste it before the end of your page. A small button sits in the corner. Clicking it opens the chat on the same page. You can also share a full-page link.
Do visitors have to log in?
No. They click the button and ask. Sign-in is only for the people who look after the chatbot.
